32 year old Bank Manager found dead in her Flat in Kanpur

In Kanpur, the body of Megha Nayak, a female bank manager, was discovered in her apartment on Wednesday under mysterious circumstances. Megha, who was 32, worked as a manager at Aryavart Bank in Farrukhabad and had been living in flat number 403 at Anand Apartment, Gooba Garden in Kalyanpur IIT. Her death has raised suspicions within her family, who believe she may have been murdered.

Details of the Incident

Megha had been living separately from her husband following a marital dispute, and the couple’s divorce case is currently pending in court. Over the past three days, her father, Ramji Lal, had repeatedly attempted to contact her, growing increasingly concerned after receiving no response. On Wednesday evening, he requested a relative to check on her at her apartment.

Discovery by Police

When the relative arrived at Megha’s residence, they rang the doorbell multiple times but received no answer. Alarmed, they contacted the Kalyanpur police station to seek assistance. Police officers arrived on the scene, accompanied by a forensic team, and forced entry into the apartment. Upon entering, they found Megha lying face down on her bed.

The sight was unsettling; Megha appeared to have been deceased for some time. Her family members expressed their suspicion that she may have been murdered, although no signs of forced entry or struggle were immediately reported by police.

Ongoing Investigation and Forensics

ACP Kalyanpur, Abhishek Pandey, stated that after examining the scene, Megha’s body was sent for a postmortem to determine the exact cause and time of death. The postmortem report is expected to reveal if her death was due to foul play or another cause, such as natural causes or suicide.

The investigation is ongoing, and further inquiries will be conducted based on the findings of the forensic examination. Police are also exploring whether the circumstances surrounding her separation from her husband could be relevant to the case. At present, Megha’s family continues to suspect that her death may not have been accidental.

The outcome of the postmortem report will provide more clarity on the cause of her death and will guide the police on the next steps in their investigation.
